Things To Do

Fly at Loterie Farms

The Loterie Farm is an old plantation turned nature reserve / eco-park. There are over 54 hectares to explore on and an almost endless list of activities you can do. Spend your day hiking up St. Martin’s highest point, relaxing by the pool, sipping on some cocktails, or flying through the forest in their ziplines and rope obstacles.

Become a Racer at the St. Maarten 12 Metere Challenge

Trade in your baseball cap for a captain’s hat and race a real multi million dollar America’s Cup Boat Race out on the open sea. No experience necessary, seriously! Sure to be an unforgettable experience as you learn to race like Dennis Conner.

Fort Amsterdam

If history is your thing then spend your day at Fort Amsterdam, the first fort to be built by the Dutch in the Caribbean. Dating back to the 1600s, this historical site is rich in history and makes for a pretty great photo op!

Shop ‘Til You Drop

While Saint Martin may be known as a tropical paradise, it’s a shopper’s paradise too! As the only island in the Caribbean that is 100% duty free, you’re practically guaranteed to save more money shopping here than back in the states. Go jewelry shopping in Front Street, Philipsburg, or souvenir shopping in the open air markets and small side streets found throughout the island. Who knows – you may even need to snag an extra suitcase with all this shopping!

Take a Dip (snorkeling, scuba, jet ski, scuba, etc.) including a ufo!

Perhaps one of the easiest things to do in St. Martin in the summer is spending your days relaxing by the beach. Or if relaxing isn’t your thing head over to the famous Maho Beach, where incoming planes zoom right above beach goers at less than 100 feet above sea level. Or if you’re a thrill seeker looking for a more aquatic adventure you can scuba, snorkel, snuba, kayak, paddle board, jet ski, and even ride a UFO (Unbelievably Fun Object)!

Dinner Cruise

Eat, drink, and be merry out on the open sea on a dinner cruise! There are many different types depending on where you are and what you’re looking for, but a dinner cruise is a great way to watch the summer sunset while enjoying a romantic dinner by or on the ocean.

Rum Tasting

Locally made infused rums are extremely popular in Saint Martin. Many shops and stores on both sides of the island offer rum tastings that will make you feel like a rum connoisseur (and leave you feeling pretty good too!) You may even discover a new favorite type of rum that you never knew existed! Our food tour features a sample of local rums to be sipped and savored!
